Makeups in Client Portal

How it works

If your child is going to miss a lesson, report it here ahead of time and you'll immediately earn a makeup token, a credit you can use to claim another family's open lesson slot as a makeup. It only takes a minute: no need to know your class schedule, just the date and time of the lesson you're missing.

Reporting a missed lesson

Sign in with your email (no password - we'll send you a one-time sign-in link).
Enter the date and time of the lesson your child will miss.
As long as you report the absence at least 12 hours before the lesson, you'll earn one makeup token right away.
If you report it with less than 12 hours' notice, the slot still gets listed for other families to use, but it won't earn you a token for that particular absence.
Each student can earn up to 2 tokens every 30 days. This is tracked per child, not per family, so each kid has their own allowance, if you report more absences for a child beyond that, the slot still gets posted for other
families to claim, it just won't earn that child a third token in the same 30-day window.

Using a token to claim a makeup slot

Browse the list of open slots other families have posted.
Claim any open slot with one of your available tokens.
Once you claim a slot, it's yours! Patti’s Swim School Staff will be notified and you’ll be set to swim at your selected open timeslot.
Tokens expire 30 days after they're issued.
